Nine changing contracts
Every deal brings a new challenge. Build sets of matching ranks, runs of one suit, and the right combinations to lay down.
Straight from the island table
A game that brings the whole table alive.
Kalooki is part of Jamaica's social card-playing culture. The table is where strategy meets conversation, each discarded card tells a story, and one well-timed call can change everything.
Skill at every turn
Read the table, keep track of discards, use jokers wisely, and decide when calling is worth the extra card.
A game to share
Whether you're playing with friends across the table or practising against computer opponents, every round is a fresh chance to outthink the field. Beginners can also learn as they play, using Jamaican Patois hints with English explanations.
Play it the Jamaican way.
Kalookis celebrates Jamaican Contract Rummy with the familiar nine-deal structure, calls, sets, runs and low-score wins. Our published rules follow the Super Kalooki rules when versions differ. Tournament score sheets may also record local house variations.
